Weather Policy for Coastal Cabana Club
Florida's weather can be as unpredictable as it is beautiful. We value your beach day experience, and in the event of inclement weather, here are your options and our commitments:
For any decision, please call us at (561) 621-7063.
Your Options:
- Full Refund : Cancel and receive a full refund, excluding a 3% booking fee. Cancellations must be made before your setup begins, which is typically 2 to 3 hours prior to your start time. Contact us to confirm your setup schedule or please check your email.
- Reschedule: Choose an alternative date.
- Optimism: Proceed with the booking and hope for clearer skies. Its South Florida the rain blows through in 10mins, back to sunshine!
If You Choose to Move Forward:
- Weatherproof Bag: For rain chances above 15%, we provide a waterproof bag to protect beach towels.
- Booking Adjustments: We may adjust your start time by up to an hour as we cannot setup during active rain or lightning. We may relocate your booking to evade rain or to ensure daily accommodations. We reserve the right to dismantle your setup if thunderstorms approach. Note: For approaching lightning, we prioritize safety and will begin breakdowns.
- Equipment Care: We always appreciate you lowering cabanas and umbrellas upon leaving. Special care is crucial during storms as rising winds can damage our equipment.
- Rain After Setup: Should it rain post-setup, feel free to seek shelter. However, refunds aren't provided once setups are completed. But it's Florida, it will pass!
- Potential Cancellation: We may need to cancel your booking, offering a 75% refund if circumstances prevent us from proceeding.
Your safety, alongside ensuring a memorable beach experience, remains our top priority.
Windy Days
For breezy beach days, we prioritize your safety and the durability of our equipment. Here's how we manage windy conditions:
- Winds Up to 15 MPH: Cabanas and umbrellas will be set up in a lowered position. If the winds ease, you may raise them, but we kindly request you ensure they're lowered before departure.
- Winds Exceeding 15 MPH: For heightened wind conditions, we'll transition from cabanas to umbrellas to ensure stability and safety.
